installing a ball valve to my sanke

hello everyone ,
I have an unmodified sanke fermenter and was thinking of installing a weldless ball valve to it for easy measuring and kegging, does anyone have any suggestions as to how i would install this.

Getting the nut on the back in the keg will be a PITA because you will have to remove it for cleaning each time you ferment.
