Inkbird temp probe inaccurate

Anyone have issues with these over time? I have two ITC-1000 and both have become very inaccurate. The unit on my glycol chiller reads 54deg even though the glycol is at 27deg. I’m in danger of burning up the compressor on the ac unit. I recalibrated the temp on the controller two weeks ago but it’s maxed out and still way off. Anyone else have this issue. Both controller are submerged in water.

Ah they should be water proof but my temp probes always match my sticky thermometer in my fermenter
