Inkbird ITC 308 WIFI on air conditioner

I bought an ITC 308 wifi which I have set for an air conditioning. When I set the temperature to 10 degrees it stops as soon as it gets below 10 degrees but it will not start when it gets above 10 degrees.
What am I doing wrong?

Check the Differential setting. That is the value that is added to your Set Point to determine where the compressor will turn on again as the chamber warms.
Also, there's likely a short-cycle timer setting that will delay the compressor start from a previous shut down. A good setting for that is 10 minutes.

Some equipment has a short cycle timer too. Most are simple but I had a window AC unit that had compressor restart protection after a power failure that interfered with me trying to control it with a remote thermostat and a contactor.

it seems that my problem is that my air conditioner can only restart by pressing start.
Is there a way to get around it?
