Found this on cooler coils in FV today. Infection??

It all looks like yeast to me. I am curious why it's only on that thin section of the coil. Was it not all in contact with the beer?
 
good healthy yeast.

from a long time working in a micro lab.

bacterial infection in a relatively clear solution can look milky or cloudy. although eventually bacteria will also fall out of suspension in a liquid.

molds and wild yeasts which are another common contaminant in our beer tend to look stringy fluffy furry spiderweb like, hairy or filamentous. and usually are on top of the beer.

the shiny off white creamy looking stuff you have is live healthy yeast.
