I have never had an infection so not sure what one looks like in person. This is my Pliny clone from AHS and this is after I dry hopped everything was fine even the grav taste when I transferred

Your fine. That looks like floating hop debris and a small amount of yeast activity from the added oxygen.

Ya I was just worried because there was some yeast looking stuff on the bottom above the hops and some floating non hop stuff floating around. I've seen nasty looking infections on here and it's not that just never had one so I got worried

This is 2 days dry hopped. I just saw some weird stringy looking stuff floating around NOT HOPS and it freaked me out

The pics look to me as if there is still active fermentation going on. If you dry-hop while the yeast is still active, some will glom onto the hops and go along for the ride (your weird stringy looking stuff).

How long did you primary before adding the hops?

2 weeks primary my gravity was 1.018 at transfer only a few points off what I'm looking for

Also the pics have hops floating around because i moved the carboy causing some hops to drop

That's good to know I was just asking. SORRY for being curious by something I've never seen before. I'm newer to brewing but I have about 18 batches under my belt and haven't seen anything like it

I brewed that kit a month ago, partial mash, and mine looked very similar to yours. I found it odd, but then I realized I had never made a beer with 14 oz of hops, so I just let it ride. Turned out fine. You're good.

Cool ya I never have made a beer with 14 oz of hops either or 5 oz dry hopped so
