What does this look like to expert eyes? Infection or normal? Just curious, as I hadn't seen anything that looked like this before. Sorry the picture isn't any better.

This is a picture of the dregs of a carboy about 12 hours after bottling, so if it is an infection, I'm not necessarily worried that the beer is ruined. It didn't smell bad when I bottled it, and there was nothing floating on the top of the beer. So if it is an infection, it's quite possible I picked it up after bottling (it might've been there last night. If so, I didn't notice). Just asking to satisfy curiosity.

Pardon me for sounding like a drill sargent, but that should be clean 12 hrs. after bottling. Do that right away, and the cleaning is easy.
Here's to You and your beer :mug:

Bottle and clean right away. The more it dries the tougher that stuff is to take out of there. Looks fine though.

Haha, fair enough. I had my floors removed, and it's become so much easier to neglect basic cleaning procedures when the entire first floor is plywood and my toilet is in my kitchen. Will do tonight.

And thanks for the input. I'd never seen the yeast form those little circles before. Usually it's just a brownish/gray sludge.
