Long story short — I brewed a really nice saison, about 15 gallons worth. I only got around to kegging 5g worth , while the others i let sit and continue to do its thing in my backroom/porch. its been about 2-3 weeks since i last took a look as I'm finally getting around to bottling/kegging the other batches with some free time

Well, take a look...and tell me what you think— infected or not? the others looks like the typical infection of the lacto variety, this looks more like loose krasuen, but i could be wrong. I was thinking of bottling this and dumping the rest. Worst case scenario i get some gushers, best case great beer.

The flavor profile is a bit off, and it does taste a little more stale and not bright as the one i kegged, but that might be due to the facet its been sitting about 2 weeks or so longer. It also has a touch of sour off flavor. Its the later taste of sourness where i raise a red flag, although its not super pronounced.

I hate to dump it, but we all know how that story ends

thoughts?

Looks like pellicle and oxidation. Sorry. Hope I’m wrong.

You're probably not — explains the stale flavor
I also noticed that the airlocks were empty; i had filled them with starsan prior, but i guess it evaporated or what not

I guess dumping and back to the drawing board I go
