Saison. Never had a strong fermentation and the brown flakes have been there since fermentation stopped. just noticed the foam yesterday. Thoughts? Seen anything like this before?

I can't really tell what's going on here. When did you pitch, how long did it ferment before subsiding, how long between that and the appearance of the foam? Could just be yeast activity, no?

I pitched about 2 weeks ago and it fermented for 2 days tops before subsiding. I didn't notice any of the foam until yesterday when I took a sample with my wine thief. The sample tasted ok, OG was 1.010. I was going to bottle and then i noticed the foam.

Suggestions?

It looks like yeast to me. I would give it a couple of days and see if it subsides. If anything weird develops, post another pic. Otherwise it looks OK to me.
