Induction Cook Top Users: What thermometer do you use?

Looks like my new Duxtop P961LS is not only slower than my electric stove top, but it also has trouble playing well with thermometers. How do you constantly monitor your temps without interference? Tempted to just send it back and get a propane burner instead.

False alarm. User error was at fault. For future reference, the ThermoPro TP08 seems to work well, with no interference.
