I am hoping to get a 2.5g keg setup and another mini fridge before it finishes. Might even try filtering to the keg if budget allows.

Never tried it, but it's on my list of must do's when I get a temp controlled fermenter.


That's just one more reason for me to build a fermentation chamber.

Was at a friends house last night and brought my Yooper House Pale Ale. Friends father in law was in from Sweden and while he liked it, I would have loved to brought a home brewed lager for him to try.
 
Same here. I just throw in the immersion chiller at about the 10 minute mark and let it boil. It slows the boil down for a moment but kicks back in quickly once the copper heats up.
