Brewed an Imperial Rye PA about a week ago. Bubbled for about three days and then...nothing. I didn't do gravity reading (I know..I know). Seems like there was enough stuff for the yeast to eat that it should keep going. It is in my basement (about 67 degrees). I know I should RDWHAHB, but the beer I did before this bubbled for 2 weeks! Any reason I would consider repitching? I only used 1 pack of Safale 4. Final ABV was projected at a little over 8%.

Thoughts??

Sounds done.

You have got to have more to add than that, especially for a fellow Michigander! I know I am a troll (Michiganterm for the uninformed) But help me out here. No need to repitch??
:off: Looking forward t visiting your neck of the woods for the UP Beer Fest next month!

I'd take your own advice and take a gravity reading, then you'll know how to proceed. I have a feeling you knew this already...

I wouldn't repitch, as I believe the beer is finished with active fermentation. But..........there's only one way to know for sure!

S04 works steady and fast, and it's not uncommon for it to finish active fermention in a day or two, certainly by three, especially in a warmer temperature.

We won't make the Beer Fest, as we're going to be gone to Minneapolis the weekend before and the Beer Fest would not be in the budget this year. Darn it, anyway!
