Immersion Chiller - Planning Ahead - Need Advice

Hey Folks,
I'm going to build an immersion chiller and I'm hoping to make one that will work as my brewing skills and volume increases.

I just started brewing and I'm currently doing partial boil extract with some grains on a 20 qt system.

I've read that it's best to achieve some type of whirlpool when immersion chilling so all of the wort is cooled evenly. My initial whirlpool will be accomplished with a spoon.

Is there an immersion chiller design, size, etc that you can recommend that I could use with my current system and also use with a larger system as mine grows?

I could also plan the design to eventually use a pump to create a whirlpool with the wort.

go with 50' of 3/8" tubing and you can always add a whirlpool arm later. I started with 20' and it's just not enough.

There's pretty much only 1 way to make an immersion chiller except the fittings might be a bit different, so I'd just youtube it and find one that you like.

I kinked the bajeezus out of mine when I was making it, so bend slow and carefully, those spring type pipe benders don't work at all so don't waste your money.

I have heard that you can fill your coil with water and freeze it and bend it while full of ice to help prevent kinks though. I've never tried it myself.
