Howdy, my first brew, a Brewers Best Hop Nog IPA is in week two of the fermenter, and all looks good. The airlock has stopped bubbling, i'm going to bottle on Sunday. So, while I wait for my first batch to mature (i'm hoping to crack one on Christmas) I think of all the beers I should be trying. It's funny how much i'm thinking about beer now that i have a carboy filled with it in the house.

any suggestions? I live in Colorado, so there are plenty of good choices, but my recent favorite is EVERYTHING from Laguanitas. Now back to staring at my carboy :)

+1 on Left Hand. Buy a 6 of Jackman Ale, drink 1 and ship the other 5 to me. I rarely see it in Iowa.

yeah, we are fortunate to have some good beers right in the neighborhood. i'm actually going to oskar blues tonight for dinner and bluegrass jam. the dale's pale ale is mighty fine

If I had Old Chub on tap....and it tasted like it does at the restaurant there, I'd never leave the house.

Lagunitas is good, but in my opinion, it doesn't stand up to a good Victory Hop Devil or a Victory Hop Wallop. Personally the Devil is just as good as the Wallop and at $5 cheaper a sixer, it's my pick every time.

...and, like said above, 12 oz Lagunitas are twisties, which doesn't help stock the bottles.
