Hi All,

I'm about to join the wonderful world of kegging, which I've heard so much about. My used corny arrived just yesterday, and the company thoughtfully included new gaskets. When I went to install them, however, I found to my surprise that there were no poppet valves in the fixtures. Is this just a missing piece, and I'll have to just go and get some? Or is there, somehow, a kind of fixture that doesn't require them? This is the ball-lock kind of corny.

Thanks!

You need to have poppets in a corny. Depending on the kind you have they can be pretty expensive compared to the total cost of a used keg. If you bought it from a legit vendor you should be calling them ASAP and have them send you poppets or a new keg.
