The lid on my cooler for my EHLT lid is hollow and flimsy. It doesn't appear it will support or at least be sturdy while supporting the weight of my stir motor. I'm looking for ideas on what material to make a new lid out of. It needs to be sturdy enough for a few pound motor. I suppose it could just on top of the cooler and would have to actually have go inside the cooler like the factory lid does. I also want it to look decent. Of course it needs to be able to stand up to moisture.
I'd prefer a ready made option as I don't have the tools to cut a nice circle that large out of material. But if need be I could get it done one way or another.
