I love volunteering at a brewpub!

Not only have I been learning a ton about brewing from some very knowledgeable pros, today we were talking about our plans for the rest of the day and I said I was going to the HBS for some ingredients for my next brew when the brewmaster said, "That'll cost you at least $15 in gas!" So he ended up giving me 20lbs of grain and a big ol' mason jar full of the house yeast:rockin:

His price, "Ehh.. Buy me a beer the next time we're out drinking."

I think I can handle that

I've had limited experience with the industry, but am hoping that a certain up and coming Seattle brewery will be able to hook me up with some free yeast and low cost grain in the future.
