my wife got us tickets to see Slayer, Testament, and Megadeth at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix on January 23....:rockin:

f*ckin' awesome. I suspect we will have a fairly exciting night. For the record, I am NOT driving:drunk:

Excellent...Cheers to your SWMBO.

I saw Megadeth, Testament and Judas Priest back in '91 (or there about)...would love to see that show again!

SSSLLLAAAYYYEEERRR!!! I have seen them three times and still am blown away by their shows. Slayer and Megadeth touring together? I guess Kerry King and Dave Mustaine must have buried the hatchet. I still have not seen Testament, would love to see them.

Oh and you have one awesome SWMBO!

I was gunna say, the lineup sounds like one I've seen before. Have fun!

One of my first shows was slayer at soma, here in san diego. From what i remember it was rad.I got the crap kicked out of me in the pit but it was worth it.

Nice!!! I'm planning to see that lineup when they come to Albuquerque. I saw Slayer for the first time this last summer and it was incredible! They played at an outdoor location and during their set, about 15 miles in the distance, there was a wicked lightning storm. From our perspective, the lightning was flashing all around the stage, far exceeding their own pyrotechnics. One of the coolest f'ing things I have ever seen. Kerry King shreds and Tom Araya screams are f'ing awesome-world!

Which SOMA? The current one, the previous venue in Bay Park/Linda Vista or the original Downtown? I haven't been to the new one yet.

The linda vista one i believe.I think it was 12 or 13 years ago.Being 14 and going at it with a bunch of 30 year old men in the pit and holding my own was great.
