Well it was topped out at that on the long straight ways. That was the last time I ever was on a sled. I think it just hurts to much even with out the wrecks

I have 3 sleds right now that I have been hanging on thinking I will ride again. I think I will give them to my buddy though because I just cannot ride any more

I've been a backcountry snowboarder for a long time and skinning in has really gotten old. I've wanted a sled for years but never been able to justify the purchase. I'm afraid it'll be like a boat, I'll only be happy those two days, and it'll never run like it should.

Well good, I'm glad to see Bottlebomber is no worse for the wear. Maybe Emjay is right and my friend lied about how many he took. Seems silly to take that many sleeping pills though if that's the case. I like to stay awake when I party.

I don't know if you've ever taken Ambien, but it can become quite festive from my experiences ;)

I loved snowboarding once I got used to the fall line facing the wrong way from skiing.

I was lucky that I grew up where I did. We have the Jackson pass that we would snowboard down and have a car pick us up and take us back to the top. I am amazed none of us got in avalanches there since we were riding down a avalanche chute.

Sledding is expensive. Just in fuel and oil I would figure 75 bucks for a days riding. Then you factor in break downs and everything and it goes up rather fast. And it does not matter if you buy a new sled or not it is going to break down and most likely as far from the truck as you can get.

But I am going to say that I love getting way back into the back country and finding a big beautiful powder bowl and just tracking it up. It is just the trail ride getting to the big powder bowls that beat the stuffing out of me:D

I cant hold it in any longer BB. No that dress will not work. You need vertical lines or your butt will look big:mug:

Ha, see I think horizontal lines are good, it makes me look more voluptuous for my height. :D

All joking aside BB does the Ambien work. I ask because sleep pretty much is a hit or miss thing for me but for health issues not just being able to sleep

In short form, yes, Ambien will make you go to sleep. Combined with melatonin it is absolutely unstoppable. However it is really best used to treat occasional sleeplessness, or to "catch up", because it will do a couple of things if used regularly and long term. One is that is will completely disable your bodies natural ability to fall into a deep sleep. Without it you will lay there all night long and be lucky if you fall into a light slumber. I'm not sure how long it takes for this to happen, but I used I for a month straight once and that was enough for me. It took 2 weeks without it for my sleep schedule to return. I use it once a month now, but you could probably use it once a week without this wide effect. The other thing is that if you have issues with depression it can enhance these. I personally don't, but my wife does <insert joke about how you would be depressed if you were married to me here> and she is forbidden from taking Ambien. It is an excellent drug for some people, and for others it is just plain wrong.

My wife was on Ambien for a few months about 4 years ago. She is one of those who is HIGHLY suggestable and experiences very bizarre hallucinations when taking it. After about 5 months of very wierd conversations, long nights sitting up making sure she didn't do anything stupid and dangerous; we got her prescription changed to Lunesta.

A buddy of mine was on Ambien for a while, A bunch of us kept telling him he was getting nutty. He had no inhibitions but after he damn near killed himself on a motorcycle, he finally decided to quit taking it.

Well I guess ambien is off the table then for me. I am pretty much out there all the time as it is. Would be nice though to sleep for more than 4 hours a night

I can highly recommend melatonin by itself if you've never tried it. Is really does help. That's what my wife uses.

I do have melatonin in 3 milligram tablets I think. They put me to sleep but staying asleep is the issue with me. Some allergy tablets work as well but I am groggy as hack when I wake up after using those. And if I am going to feel hung over the next morning there better be a drunk the night before

Yep, I feel fine. Slept like a baby, which was nice. I haven't taken any in a couple weeks, and before that a couple months. I didn't drive anywhere. I was talked into buying this though ;)

Its not so bad, I have been know to drunk shop once and awhile, then think "WTF was I thinking" when the box shows up. You do own a Iphone, right? If you don't it would be way worse.

Ooh boy, my early Ambien experiences were pretty hilarious. I took it and within days boxes of tooth whitener, shoes, and other crap was showing up. I also "bought" a Hogue grip for my Colt pistol. That was the only good to come of it.
