I have brewed about three batchs all stouts, first was just malt extract. but since that i have been adding using crushed malts and hops to the mix. I am almost through reading the complete joy of home brewing, i just found the advanced section. I havent found a way to make my beer thicker. I have added some unfermentable malts but it dosent taste any thicker wich is my complate about my beers so far. So if any one has any ideas for me please let me know.
thanks

Flaked barley seems to add some creaminess, if you haven't tried that already.

Or carapils.....what people are getting at here is that you should aim to up your amount of unfermentables a bit.

BTW....welcome to the forum!
