Personally, I'd raise the mash temp to 154. My biggest complaint with the Off the shelf session IPA's right now is a thin mouth feel. Yes, I realize that you won't get a HUGE mouth feel from a 4.0% beer. But why not up the mash temp a bit and see if you can get a "Thicker" beer? Just my .02cents. Let us know how it comes out.
 
That would be way out of balance for my taste. You're bu:gu is almost 2...

i agree 100%, can't stand the thin mouth feel. Perhaps it's my water but 152 is my usual mash and I usually have a thicker feel. Of course they are also usually over 6% too. I'll do 154° and see what I get. Thanks.

i had to do some investigating as to what this is. I looked at some previous brews and the ones I liked most were 1.3 - 1.7...i'll cut it back to 1.5ish.
