3.3 lbs(1 can) Wheat LME
3 lbs Extra Light DME
1 oz Willamette Hops (60 min)
Fermentis Yeast
I just brewed my first attempt at a fruit beer today. This is my second brew ever, and my first not using a kit, so I kept it fairly simple. The final gravity listed is what was calculated. I boiled down the raspberries with some sugar and added it to the primary right before pitching the yeast. If the raspberry flavor isn't too strong, I plan on adding more when I rack to secondary
Brought 1.5 gallons water to a boil. Added both malts and hops. Boiled for 60 minutes. Cooled by adding it to 3 gallons of very cold water. Added raspberries and topped off to 5 gallons. Pitched and added yeast.
Its bubbling away nicely already. Ill post pictures and updates as the weeks go on.
