Hey all, I've been lurking for a loooong time. Thought it was high time to join in. This community has always seemed really cool and supportive (at least from the outside looking in), and you can't ask for much more than that.
I'm in Northern Cali, been homebrewing for about 4 or 5 years off and on. I've stuck mostly to clones, as I'm simply not very good at this stuff. I've only made a handful of batches that I would call excellent, and the rest have been somewhere between poor and decent, with a couple of straight up undrinkables thrown in for good measure. I took a year off when my son was born, since I didn't have the time or energy to devote to the brew. However...I'm re-investing my time and effort, looking into what has worked vs. what hasn't, and giving my homebrewing skills another kick at the can.
