howdy! I recently got into beer making over the last couple months, i studied day and night, watch every YouTube vids there is related to brewing
I wanted to start small so i went out and bought 3 mr beer kits and a coopers kit, so maybe not that small, but still. just bottled my 2 west coast pale ales over the last couple days, they seem to have done well, now just carbing in my closet for a few weeks. if there's one thing ive learned you have to be its patient, so thats what i am! I have an "orange spiced wheat" in the fermentor thats due to be bottled in a week, hopefully that turns out ok.
I live in Cape Coral fl, keeping theese things cool is a real job it seems, i have 3 coolers with each keg in one with cool water., i keep my house at 72, but i wasnt sure.
going to be moving down the road (5 miles) in about a week so i cant really start anything new right now as i dont want to transport them, which is killing me.
then i can try out the coopers kit and a 5 gals batch...which i was kinda waiting on a kegging system, ill bottle the first batch but deff keg after that.
anyway good to meet yall!
any other florida folks?
