So I used a carb. calculator last time to carb a beer and it never carbed. (could have been issues with dead yeast or I just calculated wrong).

So I want to make sure I am using these right.

The one I am using is here:

http://hbd.org/cgi-bin/recipator/recipator/carbonation.html?10529930#tag

So you look up the style of beer and then from the scale it gives you you choose the co2 amount you want. Example:

American Amber Ale 2.2 - 2.8

So for the desired co2 volume I would enter say 2.5. That correct? There rest of the info is pretty standard. Is this correct?

Btw...is this online calculator pretty accurate or is there some other one you guys use that might work better?

The calculator does account for temp because you have to enter in the bottling temp. I am also carbing in bottles still and not kegging.

Cool. So use the chart you posted above for when I start to keg?
