How soon can I transport bottles?

Just curious as to how long after bottling I should wait before taking a few six packs on a road trip...if two weeks is the standard minimum you want to wait before cracking one open, does that imply that bottle conditioning needs to take place in an undisturbed fashion for that whole time?

21 days at 70 degrees is optimum. Moving the bottles will not hinder the carbonation, in fact, that rousing of the yeast can accelerate things. You should let the bottles fully carb, then get them chilled for 3-4 days to let the carbonation "set" and the beer to clear.

I bottle condition NOT LESS than three week. I have moved (350 miles) bottled beer the day after I have bottled it.
