I make a 5 gallon batch every 2 weeks. Hope to do 10 gallon every 2 weeks when I get more kegs. I drink them as fast as I make them almost. I got about 90 bottles conditioning now, and a primary with about 5.5 gallons in it. I plan to keep the 2 week brew schedule, brewing every 2 weeks, if I work saturday or not. Funds permitting of course, but Ive got extra grains, hops, and yeast to make a cheap batch, or experimental batch every now and then.

I do 10 gallon batches and (usually) keg.

I like to re-use my yeast cake twice. So, for three weeks in a row I brew every weekend (mid-gravity, mid-high-gravity, and high gravity). Then I stop for 2-3 weeks and repeat the cycle with new beers and yeast strains.

I often bottle because I run out of kegs (I have 8).

I really don't drink my beer anywhere near fast enough...and since I just moved my friend count is down to zero again!

Once a month on average. I was doing at least a single 15 gallon brew per month last year. I'm down to one or two 5 gallon batches per month this year, with an extended break. Next year should be more "normal" with big batches galore. SWMBO and friends are getting into wine, so I'm about to have a few more brew related activities.

I have been brewing lately for our tailgates.. and I brew 2x a week.

Generally I brew.. weekly to ever other week.
10 gal batches.

I also shoot for an every other week thing...but I also try and stagger things in like wine, Mead, and Apfelwein....just so there is something to do all the time.

I am also trying to get a keg backlog so I have them in storage for about 4 or 6 months before they go on tap, So I'm shooting for 6 months this month...and maybe 3 in November and December.

We just started brewing again after we took the summer off. We will start brewing a few times a month now. At least 4 batches a month.

Generally, I'll brew a 5-gallon batch per week for a month and then take a 2-month break. Of course I only started in January so it's not really a set pattern yet.

I too brew every other weekend ( 5 gal batches ) Whether the wife likes it or not :rockin:But u know that already

Primary: Coffee Stout
Secondary: none
Bottled: Am. Pale Ale, Vanilla Porter, Brown Ale, Bock
Kegged: Cream Soda
Coming Up: Haus Pale Ale, Brown Ale, Some kind of holiday beer

I try to do three weeks on, one week off. Generally 5-gal batches. It all depends on space, consumption and my mood.

Not often enough, I just had, for the first time, the "I ran out of homebrew and I have nothing ready to go to keg". So an Emergency Hefe is planned for thursday.

It varies according to how busy things are- but I average 2 batches a month. Sometimes that means a batch every two weeks, and sometimes that means a back-to-back brew day. :rockin:

I average three 5g batches a month but that might slow down once I have a 20 gallon supply.

Remember - with the coming economy crisis you will need beer for the apocalypse when cannibals roam the streets.

"DON'T KILL ME - I MAKE BEER"

Definately not enough! I have 4 5-gallon kegs full, 3 3-gallon kegs full, 2 5-gallon carboys full and 1 6.5-gallon primary full which all together may seem to be enough but it's not. This month alone I have a campout, birthday, Oktoberfest, and there's Teach a Friend How to Homebrew Day on 11/1. This month will wipe out my whole supply and that doesn't include personal consumption. I have a stout and a roggen scheduled for the next two weeks.

Every other week, 5 gallons. I was gonna ramp it up a bit, but then the step daughter, grandson and boyfriend moved in with us temporarily. That has seriously destroyed my already fragile pipeline. :(

I am also in a lul right now and only brewing about every other month... sad really. However, I have been doing double batches when I brew so it is still about 10g a month average. Plus I make meads and wines with my brother and apfelwein and stuff for cheap fun. I count that different than brewing though (although I don't think SWMBO sees it that way:D)

Its been about every 6 weeks for me... Hopefully that will change when I get two bags of grain next week.

There are times (like now) when other things consume my time but I average 45-50 brew sessions a year. Most are single 5g brews, but some are 2 5g batches, some are 10g batches and a couple are 2 10g batches.

I brew way faster than I can drink it.

This thread got my curiosity up. Had to go to the brew log . . . . . 30 batches so far this year.
Holy Crap! Where’d all the beer go?

Went AG around the beginning of the year and have been doing a lot of experimenting to get the technique down, so many of these were 3 gallon batches. Also, I like to brew on both Saturday and Sunday on free weekends. It takes a lot of time to pull all my junk out of the basement and put it away again. Double brews once or twice a month save a lot of time.

Anytime, Brit... anytime. You're only about an hour or so from me.:mug:

I'm gonna take you up on that one day, just as soon as I can convince SWMBO that homebrewers are real people, and NOT just a bunch of alcymaholics. ;)

Edit: I meant OTHER homebrewers! I, of course, are an hopeless alcymaholic. :(

Tell your SWMBO that I'll let her come and sit on my deck while she watches you drink a couple of beers. That should seal the deal for you. :drunk::p

(If you haven't seen the deck skit with Drew Carey and the Blue collar comedy tour guys then this post loses all its humor)

I've only brewed 8 5G batches since Jan. when I started and one had to be dumped due to mold taste that wouldn't subside. Also a batch of apfelwein (which needs replenished quick) and a sampler 1G of mead.

Plan to brew this weekend. I plan on brewing much more now that I'm AG and am getting the process down and less stressful. Also after this last AG kit I'm gonna start just doing 10G batches. Now just need to buy grain in bulk and stock up on hops and smack packs, then start yeast washing. Think I'll start washing with my mild when I transfer to keg. ( Also first keg) Another reason brewing is slow. Been concentrating too much on getting all my gadgets put together rather been making the actual beer.

:off:Laughing_Gnome- Don't take the bait, home life will never be the same for you and SWMBO! Have you seen the size of this guy's deck!!?

lately about 3 or 4 times a month but the bottle supply has not been keeping up.... So I have been drinking micros to add to the stock and the SWMBO seems to be drinking most of the home brew... oooo well

I brew twice per month. Sometimes it's 5 gallons, other times it's 2.5 (if I'm doing AG). Either way, I more enjoy the process than the amount of beer I make.

I like to brew every other weekend. Lately I have a problem of full kegs and not enough friends to drink it all. I need to spend my weekends finding friends to drink my beer so I can brew more. :D

I used to brew a couple times per month. Lately though I've been working at getting into shape so my beer consumption (and my brewing) has tailed off dramatically. I only have a couple pints a week. I brewed like a mad-man at the beginning of the summer so I have a large stock of kegs and bottles right now including a nicely aged dunkel I'm looking forward to trying in another month or so. I haven't actually brewed since the beginning of July at this point.

I miss it but I have no facility for more storage and I wouldn't be able to drink it for quite a while. :(

I have been active making wine for myself and my sister however so I haven't been totally idle thankfully.
