Hi all, semi- newbie here. I made an Ipa 2 wks ago and saved and washed yeast. I have about 2" off nice yeast in my container. So i want to brew another Ipa this w/e. I made a starter but dont know how much of my yeast to add.(1st batch was from viles).

I dont undersatnd all the gravity stuff yet but the recioe calls for a FG Of 1.018 if that helps.

Any ideas??

Thanks.

I believe (and please someone correct me here because I have been trying to figure this out myself) that if you go to mister malty and click on Re-pitching from slurry you will need between 32 to 41 ml of yeast. 1.018 is a smaller beer so I would say a starter just under 1 liter should do.

Am I right here?

Go to mrmalty.com there you will find the answers to you question. You will need to know the harvest date of the yeast and it will tell you how many ML you will need.
