I didn't think I'd spent as much as I did last year, but I did. Damn AHS! (gotta blame somebody else...). I bought a over $1000.00 USD worth of stuff ingredients, equipment, etc., and that's not counting the things I paid cash money for. How about anyone else? Cheers, Pete

I'm going to take out my initial equipment set up because I REALLY don't want to even think about that, ever.

I started brewing in September and have spent $527 on ingredients and misc supplies like StarSan and yeast nutrient.

That is 11 cornies worth of beer. But I have a stockpile of hops in the freezer.

The expenses have slowed in 2012 and are mostly just grain and the occasional new strain of yeast I am trying out.

I must have spent somewhere between $1000-$2000 dollars. I upgraded to all grain, I started kegging with a starter kit, then upgraded that to a four tap keezer; not mention my ingredients. This year I hope not to spend as much!!!

Err, like 3k. But I just put this together, worth every penny.
100 gallons and hope to spend more this year.

Cheers, Jw

Looks like I managed to brew about 187 gallons for just over $2000. I was fortunate to get starter equipment for Christmas and some AG stuff from a buddy who was upgrading. This year should be MUCH cheaper b/c i'm buying bulk grain, using yeast banks, and have almost everything I need for equipment now. Man, I love this hobby!

Built a Brutus 10 setup and brewed around 30 5-gallon batches...so I will just say a lot. I got a ton of gift cards for Xmas and bought the rest of the brewing gadgets I had been wanting, so hopefully this year I will be spending a lot less.

Well I brewed 1-2 batches a week so 1.5x52= 78 batches at a cost of $15-$35 a batch so an ave of $25 a batch= $1950 plus shipping and other odds and end so a good $2500+

Sure was some good beer though!
