How much beer do you drink in a week?

at the most i'll drink 1 a week...

it's been that way for about 6 months now... I occasionally just like to sit back, pop one open and relax, and sadly that's about 1 a week, sometimes less.

On average, 10 beers a week, with the range from 5 to 20+.

I normally drink 1 or sometimes 2 12-oz bottles a night during the week, after the kids are in bed. On weekends I'll often have 2 or 3 beers. SWMBO is the same.

Typically 2 drinks a night. Could be beer, or wine, or some kind or whiskey (gin or tequila in summer). Probably beer 5 times a week.

I am pretty sporadic. I "typically" dont drink during the week, but there is usually at least one day during the week that I have one or two. With baseball season here, that is likely to go up.

Weekends are different. I typically drink more on weekends, but I also have weekends where I don't drink at all.

On average, I would say I drink somewhere around 12 beers a week. However, that can vary greatly. There are still the occasional weekend days that I will drink 12 beers that day.

I too drink on average 1 pint per evening but I got to say lately I have cut back due to the calories, I'm really starting to notice it in my midsection. Good thing the weather is getting nicer now I can start riding again and get back to drinking more

I usually have 2 to 4 a night more on my day off. I'm desperately awaiting the full carbing of my red ale, have to wait another 3 weeks at least on that though.

usually 2-3 a night. nights when I have off the next days its 3-4 more on the 2-3..If its a sampling night though ill go get 3 bottles of something and try them all and sometimes drink the whole 23oz bottle of 11.5% then forget to try the other bottles I picked up...That was a really good Trappist

That's awesome! If I need to empty out a keg, I know who to invite.

I'm hanging in the 2-3 glasses per night range at the moment, during the week. I figure that to keep my taps and lines in good working order, they need to be used daily. Once I upgrade to five taps I will have to get some smaller glasses.

On weekends, who the heck knows.

I have one or two a night. Sometimes none. Often, a bit more on Friday or Saturday nights. Been debating limiting consumption to weekends only - beer's got a lot of calories.

Speaking of calories...I have a friend that doesnt drink from Jan 2nd to June 2nd to cut calories from the winter holidays..I dont know how he does it. Then again he is not a beer geek

I usually have between 2 and 4 pints in an evening (if I've had a rough day or just feel ) - about the same on weekends unless I have people over or people have me over.

I guess that averages out to around 3 gallons a week because I usually have people over or go somewhere.

Usually 1 every night on the weeknights, typically with dinner. Some nights I don't have any, and other nights after a rough day I might have 2 or 3. That's when I stay home. When I go over to a friends house it's a different story. I've got some poker buddies I hang out with 1 or 2 times a month, and the beer flows like water those nights...maybe 6 or 8 which is a lot for me.

Any more than 9 beers, and I get into throwing up territory. The peculiar thing is that everyone else I know will get fall-down drunk and/or black out before they throw up. For me it's always the other way around, and therefore I never get that wasted...anymore . Puking sucks...and I avoid it whenever possible .

My wife and I share 1 bottle of wine a night. If she isn't drinking, I will have 1-2 beers, or maybe none. On the weekends I sometimes drink way to much and occasionally when I calculate the night out, it comes out to about 15 "drinks" over a 3-5 hour period. Ironically, my liver is fine.

My buddies and I almost always run up $1000 tab on a weekend night in DC. AT $8-15 average a drink in town, it's easy.

However, when I see some of the keg setups these guys have... 4-8 corny kegs of beer... that is a lot of drinking and I wonder who drinks it all.

I will have a beer or 2 any given night, some days I don't have any... But you can tell when I have a lot of beer in the bottles and don't have enough empties for a batch which I need to bottle, because I start drinking a lot and call all my friends to come get drunk 4 free.

I average about the equivalency of a 30 pack a week (7 days, not 5). I'm still pretty young and don't have as much responsibility as I eventually will. If you think you have an issue with drinking, work at a liquor store and you'll feel better. Yesterday I had this 22 year old kid come in and buy 2 pints of crap vodka. He came back around 1:30pm for another pint of crap vodka. He came in for the first 2 pints at 9:05am. Then there's this other guy who drinks three 1.5L bottles of Chardonnay almost every day. I won't even get started on the lottery addicts...

I knew you were working on a career change, but I didn't realize this is what you had in mind...
