how many hops

How many hops can a hophead hop til he hops (the wort) no more?
I love hops but when does one call it quits and says thats too many?

In terms of bittering I think I read somewhere that the human pallet can't detect changes past like 120 IBUs.

In terms of flavor and aroma, well, that's debatable

I just put 9.5oz in the last 20 mins of my boil... I have never smelled such goodness. Hop bursted!
