11,399.5 + 5 = 11,404.5

Made my first batch of beer in a LONG time and decided it just wasn't right to not take the extra 5 minutes to throw some of this together!

11,404.5 + 5 = 11,409.5

this stuff cant possibly live up to this hype.......can it???:D
this may be the longest 3 months ever!!!!!!!!!:rockin:

The smell gave my SWMBO a headache but I told her it would be worth it.

11445.5 + 5 = 11450.5

just made my first 5 gallon batch of this, and its in a 30 liter plastic carboy with one of the largest airlocks i have ever seen!

Now i just have to wait and see how it is in a few months, note it is not at the picture location, was just there resting for photos before the trip down stairs to the spare/guest/fermentation room :D

Man, you have a fermenter that holds almost 8 gallons, and you only made 5 gallons of Apfelwein? I would have done a 7.5g batch in a heartbeat!

And he has two empty 5 gallon fermentors just sitting there!! Fill those puppies up with some apfelwein!

[EDIT] OOps, I started a new page; here's the current total: 11459.5 [/EDIT]

Just made 3... First try at it, sounds like I can't go wrong with this one!

11,474.5 + 3 = 11,477.5

(where did the .5 come from?)

We just made our first 5 gallons today. Used organic apple juice from Whole Foods (not intentionally organic, but we wanted the 1 gallon glass they came in for other evil experiments).

11482.5

11500+2.5=11502.5
I took llazy_llama advice, and added 2 more gallons of applejuice and some more sugar/water. sorry curits the .5 is back. :D

Just finished making a 5er. Hopefully it turns out! Waiting 3 weeks with it in the bucket is going to be tough!

Total 11517.5 + 5 = 11522.5

11549.5+5.5=11555.0 (gone.5)
my second try with a different yeast. different taste than wines i've made. age will help bring out the apple flavor, i've read. It has the kick! Finished at 12%.
