I have 100 gallons fermenting from the 2019 apple crop. The juice was very high quality (SG in the 1.062-1.070 range) so I am cautiously optimistic.

Right now I have 5 gallons going with WLP San Diego Super yeast and I did 5 gallons of NEIPC last week so 116 + 10

126

These are all carry overs from late 2019 but I estimate I have about nine gallons in process now.

Last year's thread stated that the rules are for when you started the batch, i.e. pitching the yeast between Jan 1, 2020 and Dec 31, 2020. So for me, I've only started one gallon last Saturday. Making some super high octane which I'll probably turn into Jack. Does that count?

10 gallons this weekend...
5 on WLP 775
5 on Mangrove Jacks (rerun)

All WinCo generic juice and with green tea 1 bag/gallon. No 'nutes.

Just started my first batch of the year last night. 3 gallons of pure Goldrush Cider from the local orchard and 2 gallons of their regular mix cider. I used some washed 71B yeast from my last batch in it. The last batch started in November using the same mix is currently in my keg with 1 can of FAJC. Already have had a couple pints and it is the best cider I have made. The wife likes it too.

Not sure how many gallons that puts us at for the year but whatever it is add 5 more.

First batch ever , One batch of 2 gallons of BrewDemon raspberry cider but not to sure how it turned out in the bottles but it didn’t look good

Started a batch of apple-pineapple-wheat using agave nectar 2.75 gallons not sure what I’m going to get but will see.

Just writing this to update the running total, that convention had been overlooked in a few posts.

126 (cillathomasm and earlier)
+ 3 (GeneDaniels1963)
+ 9 (Nick Z)
+ 1 (teddyearp)
+ 10 (theinterneti)
+ 3 (Tancred the Brewer)

= 152 is the current running total. I leave it up to others to adjudicate who's batches started last year. Not mine, for sure!
Before we get too lost in drink . . . . Actually Tancred the Brewer started 5, so from there it is 154.
154
+ 5 WRFarm
+ 5.5 kacey1973
= 164.5 so far

Wow, us cider makers are over 100 gallons. I'd like to throw down 6 gallons of cider for the 2020 season tally. Do cyser's count? Everything is dry hopped. Hallertau Blanc, Mosaic, Citra, and some homegrown Cascade (2019 harvest). Glory be to the apples

174.5+6=180.5

Put another gallon of Great Value on top of my last cake of EC-1118 with 1-1/4 c sugar for OG 1.08.

180.5 + 1 = 181.5

First ever homebrew, 5 gallons using hannaford cold pasteurized sweet cider. Started Friday, nottingham yeast. Airlock is happily bubbling away!

181.5 + 5 = 186.5

almost forgot to add to the tally...

my 5 day fermented, and i just dumped another 10 gallons on the yeast cake, to see if i can get a two for....lol

10+10+197.5=217.5

Finally bottled my last two for batch and started another from scratch.
3qt Walmart great value, 1c sugar, 2.5g EC-1118. Going back to my roots
217.5 + .75 = 218.25

.75? lol

218.25+10=228.25 (just a turbo batch, done in 3 days! kegged already actually, forgot to post it)

back to back! got ya'all beat!! ahh, the miracles of turbo yeast.....lol

10+228.25=238.25

5 Gallons of PMS cider
6 gallons of SII Cider

238.25 + 11=249.25

i forgot to add my 10 gallons from a few days ago....

258.75+10=268.75 🦈 (i don't know what all these icons mean, but the shark looked cool!)

Well, I've been a bit lazy. Sunday, I bottled a gallon that I had started two weeks prior. Didn't take any reading(s), too lazy and so much sanitizer in the air it seems that I didn't make a batch of Starsan. My carboy had been sanitized and sealed after last use, my utensils had just been washed a day or so prior. Did my usual EC-1118 recipe but used only a can of FAJC, thawed, for bottle carbing.

Also started a batch for Jack. I put three dang cups of reguar sugar and even 1/2 cup of dextrose and only got the SG up to about 1.12. Maybe measured wrong on my first batch. Thought I had a 1.14 with only 2-2/3 cup table sugar in about the same amount of juice. Anyways . . .

268.75 + 2 = 270.75 👌🌵🍎🍏
