How long will grains last?

Hey all quick ?

I am going to do my first BIAB and I went to my local homebrew store last Wed to get my grains. I thought I was going to have a chance to do it this past weekend but it was a no go.

Just curious how long my "grinded" grains will last? They are currently in a plastic bag with a knot tied at the top at room temp.

Weeks, probably months if kept dry. Whole grains keep for years.

They'll last a couple weeks or more, if sealed up. But the longer you go, the more they will stale, so sooner is better.
