A friend gave me a box of stout wort (similar to brewhouse). there isn't an expiry on the box but the yeast says it expired March 2006. I know the yeast is shot but do you think the wort is OK?
 
I'd toss it out or maybe use it for cooking/baking before making a beer with LME that's probably 4-5 years old, judging by the yeast expiration date.

Assuming it's canned/sealed in its original package, it won't hurt you if you decide to brew with it, it'll just be very stale. If it's been repackaged at any point, toss it out - repackaged LME gets moldy after a few weeks-months.
