how do i use a blowoff tube with a 5 gallon carboy?

title says it all, have space in my cabinet for 2 5 gallons and a 2 liter soda bottle with the top cut off as a sanitizer and blowoff container

What do you mean how do you use a blow off tube? You stick it in there and make sure it fits snug. I am failing to see why this is difficult to figure out.

Just put the blow off tube over the small inner tube of the airlock and run the other side of the tube into the half two liter filled with water.

Blow off tubes are 1" I.D. They fit perfectly in the top.

Let me rephrase that, if blow off tubing gives you an issue for some reason, just use normal tubing over the inner tube of your airlock.
