How cold can yeast in mason jars get?

After all the talk of oxygen I'm cold crashing in my keg in the kegerator I store my reused yeast in mason jars in the fridge.How cold can the yeast get without damage?? Just over freezing?

Someone much smarter than I am can probably offer better advice. But to my knowledge, as long as it doesn't freeze it's fine. I keep all my harvested yeast in mason jars in the fridge. No problem yet.
 
even if it freeze you should be fine if you make a starter to test viability. I've had to revive yeast from frozen jam jars a couple times before due to accidently sliding the vegetable>>>meat thing on my fridge drawer
