When I mix up a batch of Starsan, I know I add 1 oz per 5 gallons of water. but do I use hot or cold water? or does it matter?.
Also, how long should everything sit in the solution in order to make sure everything is sanitized?

oh, one other question. I want to make a solution to put in a spray bottle also, how long will that keep and do Istore it in room temp or in the fridge?? Any idea how much starsan to use for a solution the size of a typical spray bottle??

According to the directions, it needs at least one minute of contact. for a spray bottle, I would put in 1/2 teaspoon. It's more than would be normally mixed, but why bother trying to measure to the milligram when it's so cheap?

Oh, and as for the water & storage questions. Hot or cold doesn't matter so use warm to make it comfortable when you dunk your hands in. The storage issue was debated here some time ago. I don't have the thread link, but general consensus was that it does not maintain it's effectiveness very long.
