Those plastic clamps that pinch a siphon line don't seem to work on my 3/8 ID hose. Fit's too tight to move up & down the hose and won't pinch the tubing far enough. Does anyone know of a well made equivalent to those things, or is that all there is out there?

Vice grips might be a bit overkill...

Hah now i know where my LHBS sources theirs from.

I used the http://www.mcmaster.com/#tubing-restrictor-clamps/=vvpnp3 for a long time and they worked well, providing that the tubing wasn't cold, and you really had to crank them down tighter than you'd expect to totally pinch the flow off.

They work great and are cheap, but I designed them out of my new rig (see signature).
