Hi Guys! I was planning on brewing a simple, easy-to-drink, session beer that has an interesting malt profile but also some nice hop aroma!

It's the first time I try to brew a blonde ale so I need your help!

I have come up with a recipe and I would really appreciate your feedback!

What dry yeast would you use? I was planning Nottingham.

Should I mash around 150 or 159?

Feel free to change everything! :rockin:

Cheers from Rome! :tank:

It sounds good to me. I would drink it! I have read that if you are using Nottingham yeast just be sure to keep it cool.

Sounds like a good blonde to me. Definitely mash closer to 150 F. As for the yeast, if you can keep it cool Nottingham is good. If you can't keep it in the lower 60's, US-05 has made me a good blonde.

Thanks for the input!

What do you think about the hop schedule? do you think i'd have enough hop aroma?

I also have some citra left but i think it might be too strong for a blonde and cover up the cascade!

If you're after flavor and aroma, my favorite methods are first-wort hopping for the former and dry-hopping for the latter, rather than adding at different points in the boil.

Cheers,

Bob

Thanks for all your feedback!:mug:

So this is the beer i'm going to brew on saturday.

I'm bittering with Admiral as I didn't have enough Cascade!

Cheers!

In keeping with previous recommendations, I would move your 30 minute hops to flameout, steep or dry hops.
