I have made a basic cider - just store-bought apple juice with Safale-05 yeast. I am really happy with it - very, very tasty without doing anything else to it.

But, wanna get a bit more creative without having to worry about over carbonating by back sweetening. Has anyone had success with dry hopping their cider? Any suggestions?

Dry hopping works well. Use the search option at the top RH corner of the forum to find lot of posts on the topic.

I posted re similar questions on 2 Feb 2023 and 28 July 2022. Basically about 3 grams per litre gives a good result, but you need to be able to get the hops out when you hit the flavour profile that you want. Remember that hops float and disintegrate quickly so they need to be contained (in a bag or torpedo) and weighted down.

And... taste, taste, taste. The flavour gets taken up very quickly.
