My LBS mostly suggest the pellets for tenor recipes. Some of it is strained out but a lot goes into the fermentation bucket I'm sure. Does this just settle out during fermentation? Should I have strained? If so what can I do to fix?

It will settle. Let your beer ferment for 3+weeks and you should be good.

+1. Many will strain the wort as it placed in the fermenter. Most don't bother. Like Hackwood said, all the gunk will settle out with patience. Plus, it helps to stop you from rushing the beer and not being happy with the results. :mug:

It will settle out. I use hop bags so that the hops dont clog up my chiller. If you want to catch some of the junk, try using them next time. For now, dont be concerned, it will settle to the bottom like already mentioned.
