Anyone know where I can get the thin aluminum(?) dog tag like plant name tags for... well just about any plant, but hops in this case. They are thin and you indent the name rather than actually lay down ink or dye. I got some with hops from Australia and would like some more. Any info or leads?

So if you're looking for actual dog tags, when I was in the military I got extra dog tags from Ranger Joes. You can order them on their website and they're just like standard issue US Military dog tags with 4 lines of text (15 character limit for space) and they are engraved into the thin piece of metal.

I actually have my real dog's tags (like the tags on my mastiff) done with these as I could fit a full address and 2 phone numbers on them in addition to his name.

Too flash for the likes of me!

I snip a section out of a beer or soda can, write the name on the inside surface with a ballpoint pen, and staple it to the post that the hop is on.

I have a map, sketched out in one of my day books, that shows them too.

Look an amazon for aluminum "bracelet blanks" or "stamping blanks." All kinds of sizes and shapes.

Then a cheapo stamping set (amazon, Harbor Freight) and a small hammer and you're golden!
