Going to brew a Helles tomorrow. Grain bill consists of;German Pils,Munich and Carapils. I would like to keep the ibu's south of 20. I have Hersbrucker 1.7AA and Mittlefruh 3.2AA. How would you use these? Thanks.

All Bittering (60 min) and no more than 20 IBU. Which you use, how much, and in what combination is irrelevant (keep it noble though), as you really won't taste them. No flavor or aroma hops (if you want to keep it traditional).
Personally I recommend CaraHell instesd of Carapils.
Carapils doesn't really add anything flavor-wise.
But you'll probably be okay since using Munich (I use a pound of Vienna and 6 oz Carahell in my Helles and it's awesome). Keep the Munich light (I, not II) and no more than a pound.

I have CaraMunich on hand,no CaraHell.Would the CM be a better alternative than CP? 8lbs German Pils,1.25lb Munich1 is where I'm at right now.

Personally, I'd reduce the Munich to a pound and see if you like what that gives you, but 1.25 won't kill it, I don't think.
And no, I would not use CM. CP or CH. Especially with that much Munich.
It's malty beer, but remember, it's still supposed to be light and somewhat delicate.

Roger that. I will drop MM down to 1lb,and just run that with the Pils. Thanks for your advice, this will be my first Helles.Prost.
