I'm looking to try something new and kinda looking for some feed back to see if what I'm thinking of will work. I'm looking to make what could be described as a hard fruit punch with a little bit of hoppiness too it and I kind of have a recipe idea but I'm not sure if it would work or if there would be a better way of doing it.

1 gal batch
Boil: .5 gal for 30 min
Bittering hops: galena (or citra) @30

After cooling fill rest of one gal using fruit punch conscentrate.
Add honey to reach og of 1.07
Using American ale yeast
Yeast nutrients
Yeast energizer
Looking for an fg of around 1.02

For bottling use 16 grams corn sugar and 4 grams fruit punch powder

First question is just doing a boil like that okay? Want this to be mostly the punch with a little hoppiness.
Critiques???
