honey malt replacemant

I was told that Melanoidin malt could be used to replace honey malt. I don't seem to be finding anything to verify this. I'm probably looking in the wrong place. Can anyone tell me if it is true? Thanks

There really is no replacement for honey malt if you're looking for exactly what honey malt tastes like.

Thanks for your help. I didn't think it was the same and I could only find one site on the web that said it was the same thing so I was highly suspect of the info. Thanks again
