Homemade RIMS system and water filter build

I know this is a late post, but do you wish you had done a 2" tube rather than a 1.5"? I have been debating a RIMS build and had several people tell me they wish they had done a two inch tube.

This system has actually been working really great for me! Maybe if I was doing bigger batches the 2" system would be better. My last brew on Sunday was perfect. temp was held nicely and the step from 152 to 168 took about 15 minutes.

How long does it take to reach your typical mash temp?
