Amazon.com: An Edge in the Kitchen: The Ultimate Guide to Kitchen Knives -- How to Buy Them, Keep Them Razor Sharp, and Use Them Like a Pro: Chad Ward: Books

I use a Spyderco Sharpmaker to sharpen all the blades in my house. I'll have to check it out. I can always use good knife & sharpening info to pass along to young Boy Scouts in my sons troop.

Waydago!

Thanks, Ed! The Sharpmaker is a good system. You'll find it recommended in the book. Tell ya what, if you do buy a copy and think there might be some useful information in there for your scouts, let me know. I'm sure I could spare an autographed copy from my private stash for your troop.

Take care,
Chad

Wow, congratulations on making that list. The short video you posted, I believe in the Cooking/Pairing area, inspired me to pick up a Santoku/Chef's knife and learn some proper technique, which so far has saved a few Band-Aids! I'll have to pick-up your book over the holidays as I'm a sucker for a good culinary title. It's great when you get recognized for doing something your passionate about. Thanks, have a great holiday season, and keep up the good work!
