I like Downey because he know when to fight, and is willing to go against anyone when need be. Cleary is tough, but not really a fighter. He's gotten some pretty nice numbers since joining the wings.

Oh, and I've heard that joke about Detroit before. or very similar. I dont' mind jokes about Detroit, because I live quite a ways away from there.

I don't think anyone can fill in for Homer with what he does he pretty much is in a league of his own on the way he plays. Hopefully we will see Mac and downey on that 4th line a little in the playoffs. Hopefully against the Avalanche in the first round.

I was outraged at the initial non-suspension on Pronger.
My opinion is that it should be longer considering his history of dirty play.

I also agree with RICLARK on Holmstom(sp?), he plays in front of the net like no other.

I am with you, I am a disgruntled sabres fan trapped in ranger/islander/devil territory. I am still pissed they couldnt resign drurry OR Brierre. It def hurts going from one of the best teams in the to hoping to make the playoffs.

its not too good for me I live in the NYC metro area so I can see al the rangers, isles and devils games. However I am a sabres fan so I only get to see their games when they play the locals

Hawks had a very much outside chance to make the playoffs, but needed help.
They didn't get it. Nashville won to put it out o' reach.

Regardless, I've been quite proud of the steps this team has taken, and amazed at some of the changes since.
They're on the up and up for sure.

Hawks owned Detroit last night. They've just had the Wings' number for the most part this season.
I liked seeing the game get chippy, that's good for the rivalry.
Game Sunday should be great.

I like seeing the rivalry with St. Louis coming back some too.

For me it's a toss up between the habs and the wings. Each team has a Newfoundlander. Dunno, seems like Cleary has a better shot at the cup vs Ryder. Still, it would be nice to see the cup here in Canada.

Wow watching the playoffs is really depressing this year. I guess I got a little spoiled the last few years I guess I just dont see the team improving all that much over the off season. I think Ill be in the same place next year. I live for the playoff excitement and a part of my year is missing.

Its just not the same.
