I happened to buy everything for the chilling system on my new rig yesterday (minus a spare march pump I had laying around), but that wasn't actually a Christmas present.

No actual brewing related presents, despite my dropping multiple hints about wanting a cold room. Go figure.

March Pump. 10g batches here I come!

Also, $100 to be spent at RebelBrewer.com - Mother's orders. Yes ma'am. Thinking Beer Gun and either bulk specialty grains or a couple more cornies.

My wife got me Designing great beers and a clone recipe book. A 5 gallon better bottle a hop bag a Stainless steel racking cane and a bunch of beers I have never had.

My wife got me a digital scale, a 6 gal better bottle with stopper and another airlock, a Barley Crusher, and all the stuff needed to brew her favorite wheat beer. From my friend I got a new Perlick faucet (couldnt get me 2 as they only had one left at LHBS), he also got me a gift certificate there so I could get the other one. I asked my wife where she got the ingredient list for the wheat, she told me that she went through my brewlog and found the one I made for our halloween party, and bought the stuff from that! I am amazed she kept a smack pack of Wyeast 3068 hidden from me for a week, in my beer fridge, in plain sight next to the other yeast packs!!! I need to keep better inventory!

  • Gift certificates to LHBS
  • Kolsch glass (very cool!)
  • Celebrator glass
  • Michael Jackson's Great Beers of Belgium
  • BYO subscriprion (I think she got mixed up with zymurgy, I've had a BYO subscription since I started:eek:)
  • L'chouffe's christmas beer
  • A few stickers/posters etc it the stocking

The Jackson book is a good read. Its a little odd to read about beer from a non-technical perspective though.

14 gallon Blichmann conical fermenter
March Pump
Oh and a replacement wedding ring (mine was stolen in Mexico)

My wife rocks!

Nothing beer for Xmas for me. I did pick up a large Blue Moon Grand Cru to try for New Years Eve though. I mostly just drank homebrew all weekend. In fact, I'm pretty sure that is all I had. Besides the Belgian Pale Ale, and the Brown Ale (more of a brown IPA), Bell's Christmas beer is all I have on hand. Well, that and the Belgian Golden Strong that is still carbing.

Great gifts, but "stolen in Mexico" wow I don't think that one would work for me. :D
