Planning a trip to New England this fall and spending two nights in Waterbury. If you had two nights, would you recommend Hen or the Wood and Pro Pig for supper? The Old Stagecoach for breakfast? Plan is to head up to Parker Pie to be there when they open and subsequently go to Hill, Nichol's Pond, Lake Elmore, Moss Glen Falls, Stowe Cider for the misses, Alchemist, and then supper at Hen of the Wood...in a day. Wish Jasper Hill gave tours or was open to the public.Parker Pie - Scott's Revenge Pizza, Sweet and Spicy Thai wings
Three Penny Taproom - TPT Burger, or if they have the cold soba noodle salad
Pro Pig Brewery - Ramen if they have it, or random tacos
Black Back - Heady Dipper
Pro Pig - pork rinds, fried pimento cheese
Doc Ponds - beets and brussels, glazed carrots, mac and cheese, salted caramel milkshake
yeah...
Following day, breakfast at Stagecoach again, visit Peck Family Farm for syrup at 10:00 am, lunch at either Mad Taco or Three Penny Taproom, then head southeast to Boston.
Open to any suggestions!
